Potential Four Card Setup?
In 2025 Discover was acquired by Capital One and so far, the biggest change was the switching of C1 debit cards to the Discover network. However, two things have changed, the first is that now Discover cards can earn the same 5% cashback on the C1 travel portal like C1 cards.
The second is that the Discover it card will now be on the C1 app and website. This is big as it may lead to the possibility that you can transfer Discover cashback to C1 miles the same you convers your C1 cashback to miles, meaning that C1 will have a quarterly 5x category like the Chase Trifecta but for free.

The Bottom Line
At the end of the day there is no way you can go wrong with this set up, while there are no sign-up bonus and lack of a proper travel category, it has all the main earnings of daily spend and the entertainment catagory are huge! If you have the credit and the money for the Venture X and Savor duo it is better value. But if you want simple earnings with no annual fee, or are just getting strated with points or credit cards in general, this is the way to go!
